Katie and Kevin are high school sweethearts and it made perfect sense that they return to the scene of their first date to say their I Do's. The day was full of personal details, like the beautiful handsketched elements architect bride, Katie incorporated into their stationery suite or the adorable miniature sweaters the groom's grandmother knit every guest for their welcome basket.
After getting ready at The Terrace Hotel, the ceremony took place across the street at The Loggia at Lake Mirror. It was the perfect intimate space right in the midst of the hustle and bustle of downtown Lakeland for the couple to exchange their vows.
Following the ceremony, guests remained at the Loggia for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and handrolled cigars while the family and bridal party took photos.
After cocktails guests made their way to the Kryger Terrace for dinner, drinks and dancing. The Terrace Hotel catered an amazing steak dinner, the same meal Katie and Kevin enjoyed on their first date. Later in the evening after working up an appetite on the packed dance floor, friends and family were treated to late night snacks of Chick-Fil-A and amazing gourmet ice cream sandwiches from A Cow Named Moo! There was truly no detail overlooked and it was such a wonderful night. It's clear that this couple is sincerely loved by so many and wanted to pour that love right back out for the ones they are close to!
